Paris (NexusPakistan latest. August 6, 2024) Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Forum France, under the leadership of Mirza Asif Jaral, organized an all-party conference on the illegal abrogation of Articles 370 and 35A of Kashmir by India in Paris. What did Special guest Ambassador Asim Iftikhar Ahmed emphasized on the sanctity of UN Security Council resolutions and reiterated Pakistan government’s resolute policy on Kashmir.
Kashmiri leader Muzamil Ayub Thakur urged participants to engage with the wider community to change public opinion, as has been done successfully with the Palestinian narrative. Zafar Qureshi reminded the audience of the history of Article 370 and 35A and added that there is no hope in Kashmir, so Pakistanis should remain steadfast.
The speakers condemned India’s actions and reiterated their resolve to free Kashmir from Indian oppression.
He remembered the oppressed and martyrs and paid tribute to those who sacrificed everything for the just cause of Kashmir. Hammad Ali, Sarfaraz Sahi, Chaudhry Zulfiqar Nagyal, Shafiq Asghar Khan, Mirza Atiq, Mushtaq Pasha, Imran Bashir, Zulfiqar Aziz, Hasan Mir Qadri, Sardar Man Singh, Zahid Nishat, Hafeez and others also spoke.
